During the celebration of ‘World Environment Day’ (June 5, 2023), Mr. Vince Mercado, our Senior Vice President for Business Development, presented to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) group lead by Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga with the other partners and guests the BEST Inc.’s advocacy and programs towards circular economy through evidence-based decisions’ strategies through real-time waste digitization.

He also showed the programs, like Tindahan Extra Mile: Balik PET Bottle Program that targets to recover Plastic PET bottles back to the waste supply chain, and multi-stakeholder platform that enables anyone to participate in our program as long as they can contribute to the five pillars of our circular economy. The five pillars are segregate, exchange, redeem, collect, and recycle. Apart from the environmental benefits of this program, we are able to help our clients with their EPR programs requirement as a strength of our program.
